The tables below list device models supported in Agilent EEsof EDA products. For Advanced Design System/RF Design Environment (ADS/RFDE) or GoldenGate, these represent models that are available in the simulator. For the Integrated Circuit Characterization and Analysis Program (IC-CAP), these represent models for which a commercial extraction routine product is available for use with IC-CAP. The ADS simulator ships with IC-CAP, so any model available in ADS can be extracted with IC-CAP. You also have the option of simulating Verilog-A models directly with ADS using the Verilog-A Compiler.
In addition to the MOSFET models included in the table below, Genesys supports,
- Motorola LDMOS (from 2004.03). This model is also supported by ADS/RFDE.
- PTFT (Polymorphous Si TFT PSIA2.0)
- ATFT(Amorphous Si TFT ASIA2)
From version 2005.11, Genesys uses an ADS source code implementation of MOS1,2,3 and BSIM 1,2,3. All other Genesys nonlinear models (with the exception of MOS1,2,3 and BSIM 1,2,3) are Verilog-A compiled C-code, built in Genesys. Verilog-A code of all the models is also available in Advanced Modeling Kit (AMK).
