他のプレーナ電磁界シミュレータと比較して、Momentum の最も大きな特長は、Advanced Design System (ADS) 設計環境の中の、統合された電磁界シミュレータであることです。 これにより、ADS回路設計より迅速に電磁界解析にアクセスでき、また共通のユーザ・インタフェースであるため、ツールの習得も容易となります。

Momentum のユーザ・インタフェースは柔軟性と容易な操作を備えています。例えば、ドロップ・ダウン・メニューは、解析のステップごとに並べられており、直感的な操作でセットアップからデータ表示まで行えます。

This progressive series of five screen images from Momentum shows the design progression and use-model of Momentum: a schematic can generate a layout, which can mesh the geometry, which can in turn simulate the geometry and produce S-parameters. These S-parameters can be used as an element back in a schematic simulation.
