Wireline Application Guide

The Wireline Application Guide provides a collection of high speed design examples demonstrating the use of Advanced Design System to simulate high speed circuits such as Trans-Impedance Amplifier, Laser Driver Amplifier, Ring Oscillator, 16:1 Multiplexer and 1:16 De-Multiplexer.

Installation

The Wireline Application Guide is a selection option on the Installation Shield of the ADS CD. Once installed, it is accessed from the schematic page under the "DesignGuide" menu.

For ADS 2003C and in later releases, the option of installing the Wireline Application Guide is offered during the ADS installation process.

For ADS2003A, the Wireline Application Guide is installed automatically upon installation of RFIC examples.

For ADS 2002A or ADS 2002C, Wireline Application Guide can be installed from the ADS main window. Choose the menu command > DesignGuide > Add Global DesignGuide.

Then click on Browse and select the file Wireline.deb from /examples /RFIC/ Wireline_Application_prj/debian.

When the Wireline Application Guide is installed, the VPI Link utility and the Signal Integrity application are installed at the same time.
