Matching Utility

The Impedance Matching Utility provides SmartComponents and automated-assistants for the design, simulation, and performance analysis of common passive impedance matching networks. Matching facilities include a Broadband Matching Assistant, Simulation Assistant, Sensitivity Assistant, Display Assistant, and Transformation Assistant, all of which can help to accelerate the design and verification process.

A Wizard-Like User Interface helps the user to synthesize and analyze a matching network with minimum effort. Once a matching component is designed, the lumped inductors and capacitors can be transformed into their equivalent distributed element (transmission line) counterparts using the Transformation Assistant. Conversion to ideal lumped elements does not require an extra software license but conversion to microstrip elements requires the Passive Circuit DesignGuide license.
