RF Design Environment

RF Design Environment enables large-scale RF/mixed-signal IC design development in the Cadence environment. It integrates Agilent's best-in-class frequency and mixed-domain design and RF simulation technologies into the Cadence analog and mixed signal design flow framework.

RF Design Environment Flow

RF Design Environment is embedded in Cadence Analog Design Environment to provide:

  • Enhanced Simulation, Optimization, and Statistical Design tools such as DC, AC/S-parameter, harmonic balance, circuit envelope, transient/convolution, parameter sweep, parameter optimization, and Monte Carlo yield analysis. Simulation solutions also include:
    • Momentum Electromagnetic simulation and visualization
    • Connected Solutions to integrate software and test and measurement instrumentation for design and verification
    • Wireless Test Benches to verify system performance of 3GPP, TD-SCDMA, and WLAN communication standards
  • Powerful and Flexible Data Display and Post-processing with Data Display, Measurements expressions, probe circuit, auto display, and snapshot mode functionality.
  • Extensive Device, System, and Behavioral models including RF sources, Circuit components, System components, Microstrip and Multilayer components.
